Second Annual World Knot Tying Day - December 18th
What is it?
The members of the International Guild of Knot Tyers (IGKT) are promoting 18 December, the birth date of Clifford W. Ashley, as the second annual World Knot Tying Day. World Knot Tying Day is designed to publicize knot tying and to raise awareness of how knots are important tools in our lives. Knots can be very useful or decorative, as well as therapeutic to tie.
How can I take part?
People all over the world are being encouraged to participate in World Knot Tying Day, by taking a photo of themselves tying a knot or teaching someone a new knot and posting it to a social media platform using the hashtag #WorldKnotTyingDay.
