Book of Condolence
In Memory Of Brian Walsh
Brian Walsh, a member of the East Anglian Branch, died at the beginning of March, having been ill for a number of years. He leaves a wife, Jean, and two sons, Anthony and Adrian.
He served in the Royal Navy for 9 years and was a very keen scouter with a special interest in Pioneering.
He joined the Guild in 1990 and was particularly interested in flat knots and turksheads. He will be fondly remembered for donating mystery prizes for the raffles at Guild meetings - even if he was unable to attend the event in person.
We remember Brian fondly, from the times that we met him at guild meetings, for his warmth generosity and friendliness. A keyring that he gave us many years ago is still in daily use and is a constant reminder of a very nice person. He has been missed at meetings and we send our condolances to his family.

Brian was an artist with pen as well as string; he had many interesting anecdotes to go with the knots he tied.
